The Ratings

The system of how I rate hobbies comes down to three core factors:

Its ease.

Its price.

And whether or not it’s actually a hobby.*

That’s it!

The ease is a scale of 1-10, and costs range from $-$$$$$. Whether it’s a hobby (definition below) is answered with a simple yes or no. If no, a note of how it is defined will be left. If a hobby, it will also be assigned an arbitrary score with the corresponding letter grade.

*For what it’s worth, the loose definition I use for hobby is the same you will find when you Do a Google: An activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure. The regularity is key here for something to be a hobby (versus a task, for example). I’m very subjective in my overall score-giving, and I can do that because it’s my website.
